“Original” Louisiana Hot Sauce Video Contest

Terms and Conditions

Characteristics: Video content can display humor, talent, amazing feats or anyone’s love of “ORIGINAL” Louisiana Hot Sauce. To be eligible for submission, the video must contain “ORIGINAL” Louisiana Hot Sauce. Submissions will be accepted from October 1, 2009 12:00:01 AM CST until January 31, 2010 11:59:59 PM CST. There are no time constraints regarding the length of the video. Videos must be in English or contain English subtitles. Each entrant/contestant must be the original author of all parts of the video or have permission to use copyrighted material. Each entrant/contestant must have the consent of all parties displayed and/or heard in video to enter this contest. Videos must comply with any and all agreements the entrant/contestant has with a third party (known or unknown to Bruce Foods Corporation before, during, or after the contest). Bruce Foods Corporation retains full, complete, and unilateral discretion to determine whether any video or a portion thereof contains language, content, footage, or images which are unsuitable for the contest. If any of the above requirements are violated, the video will be disqualified without prior notice. Bruce Foods Corporation assumes no responsibility for anything which occurs during the pre-production, production, and/or post-production of your video.

How to Submit: During the Contest Period, the user will visit www.lavideocontest.com. The entrant/contestant will be instructed to join the “ORIGINAL” Louisiana Hot Sauce YouTube® group where they will upload their video. Once uploaded, the entrant/contestant will return to www.lavideocontest.com to complete their submission by entering their Name, Date of Birth, Physical address, City, State, Zip Code, Phone Number, E-mail address, T-shirt size and YouTube® URL. Once each entrant/contestant agrees to these Terms and Conditions, their submission will be processed by clicking ‘Submit’. Submissions are not complete and will not be judged until a CD or DVD of the full quality video file is mailed to Bruce Foods’ Corporate Office, postmarked by January 30, 2010 11:59:59 PM CST. The only file types that will be accepted are .mov, .avi, and .wma. The mailed portion of your entry must include the “Copyright Form” which can be found at www.lavideocontest.com, printed and completed in its entirety. Entrants/Contestants may submit up to three (3) videos, but only one (1) winner per person/email address/YouTube® account is allowed. Entries can be made under only one (1) person’s name. If the video is a joint collaboration between two (2) or more people, one (1) person must act as the principal for the submission of the video and acceptance of any prize. By submitting a video to the “ORIGINAL” Louisiana Hot Sauce Video Contest, the contestant agrees to revoke all rights to the video to Bruce Foods Corporation to be used at the discretion of the company. By completing a submission, contestant agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

Judging: Judging will be carried out by an undisclosed panel of judges which will be determined by executives of Bruce Foods Corporation between February 1, 2010 and February 12, 2010. Judging criteria is as follows: Viral Success/Potential (20%), and Judges Panel (80%). Winners will be determined by February 12, 2010. Judges’ decisions are final.

Prizes: Grand Prize - $5,000.00

2^nd Prize – Video Camera or $2,500.00

3^rd Prize – Video editing software or $500.00

All complete submissions that meet the criteria above will receive one (1) Louisiana Hot Sauce t-shirt in the size specified in the entry form at www.lavideocontest.com, while supplies last.

Winners will be announced and notified at the discretion of Bruce Foods Corporation, by phone, mail or email. If contact information provided at the time of submission is incorrect and Bruce Foods Corporation is unable to contact the entrant/contestant by the date specified, the submission will be disqualified and the prize will be awarded to the next eligible entrant/contestant based upon their score.

A check in the full amount of the prize made out to the winner will be mailed by a date deemed necessary by Bruce Foods Corporation to the address provided at time of the video’s submission unless an alternate address is provided by the entrant/contestant upon notification of winning the contest.

Once submission is complete and/or the prize is accepted, all rights to the video, proprietary or otherwise, are unequivocally released and surrendered to Bruce Foods Corporation. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you (as an entrant/contestant) unconditionally authorize Bruce Foods Corporation to utilize, exploit, manipulate, and reproduce all aspects of your video, including the idea, for reproduction, exhibition, and exploitation, throughout the world, in perpetuity, in any and all manners, methods or media, whether now known or hereafter devised, including in all advertising, publicity and promotions and with respect to the exploitation thereof. Winners are responsible for all Federal, state, and local income tax and laws associated with accepting the prize.

Eligibility: This contest is open to U.S. residents only, eighteen (18) years of age or older on January 31, 2010, 11:59:59 PM CST. Anyone under eighteen (18) years of age must have ‘Parent/Legal Guardian Consent Form’ signed and dated by a parent/legal guardian and mailed to Bruce Foods Corporation Video Contest, P.O. Drawer 1030, New Iberia, LA 70562, postmarked by January 30, 2010 11:59:59 PM CST. If a Parent/Legal Guardian Consent Form is not received by said time, any video submitted by a minor will be disqualified without prior notice. Employees of Bruce Foods Corporation and their immediate families or anyone associated with Bruce Foods Corporation (i.e., suppliers, brokers, and buyers) are ineligible. In the event an insufficient number of qualified eligible entries are received during the Entry Period, Bruce Foods Corporation reserves the right to select less than 3 winners or terminate the contest in its’ entirety. No Purchase Necessary. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
